Why this document exists
As a technology-first pharmaceutical partner, NEUVIOR recognizes that climate health is inextricably linked to human health. We believe that long-term institutional trust requires transparency regarding our environmental impact and a clear, actionable roadmap for reduction.
This document serves as our primary public disclosure for Net Zero intent, aligned with the UK Government's “Greener NHS” ambitions and the requirements of PPN 06/21. It provides our partners, including the NHS and private healthcare providers, with the assurance that NEUVIOR is committed to a sustainable future.
Commitment statement
NEUVIOR Pharmaceuticals Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions across our entire operational footprint by 2045. This commitment encompasses all Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, alongside significant Scope 3 categories as defined by the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
We recognize that the path to Net Zero requires more than just carbon offsetting; it demands a fundamental redesign of how we operate, deliver digital services, and manage our supply chain. Our approach is rooted in the principle of "reduction first," ensuring that we exhaust all possibilities for direct decarbonization before considering high-quality carbon removals for residual emissions.
"Our mission is to build healthcare technology that is as sustainable as it is effective. We don't just commit to a date; we commit to a process of continuous improvement and radical transparency."
What this commitment covers

Scope 1
Direct emissions from owned or controlled sources.

Scope 2
Indirect emissions from purchased electricity, steam, heating and cooling consumed by operations.

Relevant Scope 3
Value chain emissions including business travel, commuting, waste generated and transportation.
How NEUVIOR will get there
We prioritise accurate measurement of emissions across our operations to establish a clear baseline. This enables targeted reduction actions and ensures progress is tracked transparently over time.
Our focus is on reducing emissions at the source through operational efficiency, supplier engagement, and responsible procurement practices, rather than relying on offsets.
We embed sustainability into how our platforms and services are designed, ensuring that delivery models are efficient, scalable, and aligned with low-carbon principles from the outset.
We work with partners and suppliers who align with our sustainability expectations, encouraging responsible practices across the value chain as part of long-term impact.
