NEUVIOR | Review draft | 13 October 2026

SUSTAINABILITY | CURRENT POSITION

Grow with
a smaller footprint.

Net zero direction, the evidence still needed, and a practical route towards NHS supplier sustainability expectations.

2045

The target recorded in NEUVIOR's existing April 2026 plan.

A documented direction. An evidence programme to complete.

The retained plan states a company-wide net zero commitment for Scope 1, Scope 2 and all relevant Scope 3 emissions. It also says the first complete emissions inventory is still in progress. This companion preserves that distinction: a target exists; quantified progress and an Evergreen assessment result have not been established by the records reviewed.

Review draft | 13 October 2026

NEUVIOR Pharmaceuticals Ltd | SC857853. Prepared for website and founder review. This document does not renew approval, sign a declaration or certify procurement compliance. It accompanies the existing April 2026 plan; it does not overwrite it.

EVIDENCE BEFORE ATTAINMENT

What the record
actually supports.

Existing carbon plan

The eight-page plan is dated 10 April 2026, with a stated review date of 10 April 2027. It identifies NEUVIOR Pharmaceuticals Ltd as the reporting entity, uses an operational-control approach and records the 2045 direction. Its declaration names Varun Sharma, Director, as approving publication. A separate board minute or signed carbon declaration was not located in the reviewed site files.

Inventory and reductions

No completed baseline-year or current-year emissions totals are supplied in the retained plan. Scope 1 and Scope 2 are described as requiring assessment; the value-chain inventory is being mapped. Missing figures must remain unknown. They must not be replaced with zero, estimated reductions or an assurance badge.

Evergreen position

The reviewed files do not contain a current Atamis maturity score, completed Level 2 assessment or Level 3 result. Level 2 preparation is the immediate evidence exercise proposed here. Level 3 remains the previously stated ambition. Neither is presented as attained.

Existing responsible-supply record

The separately retained Modern Slavery Assessment and Statement is effective 10 April 2026 and visibly records an electronic director signature dated 17 July 2026. Its commitments are a policy record; implementation, training and screening outcomes need their own supporting evidence.

INVENTORY DESIGN | PROPOSED NEXT WORK

Measure the work
behind the footprint.

Set the reporting boundary

Confirm the legal entity, reporting period, operational-control boundary and any changes since the April plan. A global reporting boundary concerns all operations of the reporting entity; it does not mean NEUVIOR has offices in every location mentioned on the website. Document any parent or subsidiary position rather than assuming one.

Collect activity, retain the record

Assemble available energy and workspace records, cloud and software supplier information, device purchases, business travel, commuting and waste information. Assess direct fuels and refrigerants where relevant. Keep the evidence date, units and method beside each calculation. Record why a category is not relevant instead of silently leaving it out.

Consider all value-chain categories

Screen the 15 GHG Protocol Scope 3 categories for relevance to the actual business. Purchased goods and services may deserve attention for a digital and research company, but their materiality still needs evidence. The required inventory should describe included sources, exclusions, estimates and data gaps consistently.

Turn gaps into owned work

For each missing input, specify the record needed, who can obtain it and the proposed next review. Use published conversion factors appropriate to the reporting year and retain assumptions. No deadline, owner appointment or spend is authorised by this draft. These are decisions for the company to confirm before the inventory programme is approved.

EVERGREEN | APRIL 2026 PUBLISHED MATRIX

Two milestones.
Different evidence.

Level 2 | prepare a complete account

The current matrix calls for measures in effect; a public target no later than 2050; a global boundary covering Scope 1, Scope 2 and all relevant Scope 3; GHG Protocol reporting; governance sign-off; and a CRP published within 12 months of assessment. Independent target validation and emissions verification are not Level 2 requirements.

Level 3 | the further ambition

The published matrix adds a 2045 target, reporting-entity target validation and emissions verification, a public modern-slavery statement and completion of the Modern Slavery Assessment Tool. The existing signed statement is not, by itself, evidence that MSAT has been completed.

A score must come from the assessment

Evergreen is a supplier self-assessment and reporting route hosted in Atamis. A maturity claim needs the actual current assessment record. Designing these documents, publishing a target or receiving research funding does not establish a score. Record the assessment date and validity when a result exists.

Keep procurement and maturity separate

Procurement requirements depend on the route, value and commencement date. An Evergreen ambition is not a substitute for the carbon information or other requirements of a particular tender. The company should check the buyer's actual conditions before making a compliance declaration.

NHS PROCUREMENT | NOW AND APRIL 2027

Prepare for
the next requirement.

The position before 1 April 2027

NHS guidance applies a full CRP to high-value procurements of at least GBP5 million per annum including VAT, and new frameworks where relevant and proportionate. Lower-value in-scope contracts above the relevant published threshold use a Net Zero Commitment. Applicability and proportionality depend on the procurement.

The change from 1 April 2027

The published new guidance uses two CRP tiers: the wider 2027 NHS CRP for high-value contracts and new frameworks or dynamic markets, subject to proportionality; and the 2024 CRP for lower-value in-scope contracts above the relevant threshold. New in-scope procurements cease using the standalone Net Zero Commitment route. Earlier procurements continue under earlier requirements.

What the wider account needs

The 2027 NHS CRP requires baseline and current global emissions across Scope 1, Scope 2 and all relevant Scope 3, measures in effect, approval and public availability, with net zero by 2050 or earlier. Independent target validation is encouraged, not mandated by that minimum procurement policy. It remains part of Evergreen Level 3.

What NEUVIOR needs to decide

Confirm the current validity of the recorded 2045 commitment; approve the inventory boundary and reporting period; assign evidence collection; review measures actually in effect; and approve a completed declaration when the evidence is ready. Assess tender-specific gaps with the contracting authority. This draft does not promise acceptance of incomplete reporting or invoke an exception on NEUVIOR's behalf.

OPERATING PRIORITIES | REVIEW AND SOURCES

Reduce deliberately.
Report honestly.

Actions already described in the April plan

The retained plan describes virtual-first collaboration, a travel hierarchy, digital documents, longer device use, computing efficiency and supplier screening as measures in effect or being embedded. The next review should identify which are demonstrably operating, what records support them and which remain planned. These categories should not be blended into a claim of measured carbon reduction.

What a future update should show

A useful update would state the baseline and reporting years, scope totals in carbon dioxide equivalent, methods, significant boundary changes, actual measures and the approval record. Explain the difference between activity changes and recalculation. Publish numerical progress only when it can be reconciled to retained evidence.

Approval status

This is a review draft of the current position and proposed evidence work. No new target, interim percentage reduction, baseline, budget, certification, signature or assessment score is created. The existing plan and signed modern-slavery statement remain separate records.
