Make the implementation question visible

A medicines opportunity has to fit the setting in which it will be used. Evidence, professional responsibility, capacity, supply, and expenditure all affect whether a proposed change can deliver value.

PHARMORIS is being developed to connect those elements within a defined workflow, from source-linked evidence and human review to implementation planning and subsequent assessment.

01

What an evaluation should establish

We begin with the current approach and a decision that matters to the organisation. The evaluation should identify the work required to use the system, the quality of the resulting decisions, and what can be attributed to the change afterwards.

A useful comparison considers both benefit and burden. Time released, purchasing changes, implementation costs, and cash savings have different meanings and should be examined separately.

02

Bring a concrete use case

We welcome conversations with health-system medicines teams able to describe an existing workflow, the problem they want to address, and the evidence they would need before adopting a different approach.
