Review draft | 13 October 2026
This companion explains how to navigate the existing record. It does not renew its approval or establish completion of the operational commitments it describes.
WHAT THE SIGNED STATEMENT COVERS
Six areas.
One accountable approach.
Organisation and supply chains
The record describes an early-stage UK life-sciences company with an evolving third-party supplier base. It considers scientific services, physical goods, logistics, support services and professional or digital suppliers. Future manufacturing and product activities are described as risk considerations, not current installed capabilities.
Policies and risk areas
The statement sets out a zero-tolerance position, ethical recruitment expectations, worker protections, supplier standards and escalation. Its risk approach considers sector, geography, labour model and subcontracting. Lower spend or a small company does not automatically mean low risk.
Due diligence and remediation
The documented workflow moves from screening to proportionate information requests, enhanced checks where needed, contractual controls and review. Its remediation principles prioritise worker safety and consideration of consequences, rather than presenting immediate supplier termination as the only response.
Training and effectiveness
The statement defines awareness and role-based training expectations, metrics and review commitments. Those commitments need implementation records. This companion does not invent training attendance, supplier-screening completion, incident counts, audit findings or a percentage of suppliers assessed.
PRACTICAL READING | EVIDENCE AND FOLLOW-THROUGH
Use the policy
to ask better questions.
For a prospective supplier
Read the expectations relevant to the goods, services and labour model you propose to provide. Be ready to explain subcontracting, recruitment arrangements, worker protections and the route for concerns, with proportionate supporting evidence. The depth of review should reflect the actual risk and scope, not a decorative assurance badge.
For a buyer or collaborator
Distinguish the existence of a signed policy from evidence of implementation. Ask which records support the relevant commitment, who owns the relationship and how concerns or changes are reviewed. The public statement provides a starting point; it is not a third-party certification of the entire supply chain.
For internal review
The next evidence exercise should reconcile the supplier register, relevant contract controls, risk assessments, training records and any concern or remediation log with the statement's commitments. Do not infer a clean incident record because none was located in this design workspace. Any update to the signed policy needs separate substantive review and approval.
For concerns or specific questions
Use NEUVIOR's contact route and identify that the enquiry concerns the modern-slavery statement. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in an initial public form. The statement itself provides the company's current escalation position. This companion does not establish a new protected whistleblowing system or reporting channel.
PUBLIC POSITION | RELATED NHS EXPECTATIONS
A voluntary statement.
A live responsibility.
The publication basis
The signed record states that NEUVIOR is below the Section 54 turnover threshold and publishes voluntarily. The Home Office guide describes the statutory reporting test, including GBP36 million turnover and the other applicable conditions. Current company eligibility should be reassessed as the business changes; the statement's self-reported position is not an independent turnover audit.
The NHS procurement context
NHS England describes modern-slavery procurement regulations effective from 17 May 2026. Their application concerns NHS procurement responsibilities and proportionate risk management. A supplier should examine the actual requirements it receives rather than assume a voluntary statement alone fulfils every tender condition.
Evergreen is a separate record
The current Evergreen matrix requires a public statement and MSAT at Level 3. The retained statement supports the disclosure element, while completion of MSAT and an assessment level require separate evidence. No current MSAT score or Evergreen Level 2 or Level 3 attainment was located in the reviewed site files.
