Ambition supported by opportunity

Selected for Innovate UK support

Competitive public funding has supported defined NEUVIOR programmes. We are grateful for the opportunity to turn research proposals into development and feasibility work.

Awards and support

Ingenuity,
and the art
of possibility.

Medicine carries generations of knowledge, persistence and invention. We want to build on that inheritance — and ask what it could become next.

A medicines decision that finally reaches practice. A clearer understanding of why cancer returns. A production process that uses less and recovers more.

These are different challenges. Each invites the same instinct: imagine a better way, investigate it properly and pursue what could make a difference.

Our work

Different questions.
A shared purpose.

Medicines Intelligence

Connecting medicines evidence with the decisions and work that follow, through PHARMORIS and programmes shaped around healthcare teams, pharmacy owners and the people they serve.

Gloved hand positioning a multiwell sample plate on a microscope platform

Research

Pursuing questions across medicines, biology and resources, with programmes spanning implementation, industrial development and glioblastoma research within a wider landscape of scientific inquiry and discovery.

Resource Economics

Investigating how materials, energy and manufacturing choices create value, connecting resource efficiency with process performance, industrial adoption and the real economics of sustainable pharmaceutical production.

What happens between
an idea and its impact?

A promising idea rarely travels in a straight line. It crosses a laboratory, a decision, a budget, a workflow — and the judgement of people who need to make it work.

That is where NEUVIOR’s fields meet. Our medicines intelligence asks how teams can move from evidence to action. Our biomedical research asks which biological questions deserve the next experiment. Our resource research asks whether a more resourceful approach can also work in the real economics of production.

We are building a company that can think across those connections. The ambition is broad. Each programme begins with a specific problem and a piece of work that can move it forward.

A young company.

Innovate UK Growth Catalyst

We began in Glasgow with a conviction that a new company could contribute to difficult problems in medicine. Within our first weeks, PHARMORIS was selected through Innovate UK’s competitive Growth Catalyst programme.

For a young company, that support changes what is possible. It creates time to develop, test and learn. It also brings a responsibility to turn the opportunity into work that others can examine.

We are grateful to Innovate UK, Scottish Enterprise and the specialist contributors who have supported defined parts of our journey. Our progress includes PHARMORIS software development and completed initial ZYLON feasibility work with the Biorenewables Development Centre in York.

That early encouragement is a beginning worth building on. The next chapter is about the quality of what we deliver and the value it can create.

International outlook

United Kingdom.

The future of medicine will be shaped by people, ideas and disciplines crossing borders.

We want to be part of that conversation. A Glasgow beginning gives us our first point on the map; curiosity keeps the horizon open.

About this map

A visual study of our international outlook. Highlighted places are not office addresses, confirmed projects or a travel route. The United Kingdom view uses London, with Glasgow marked separately. Connecticut is represented by a geographic point within the state.

Inside our work

One question at a time.

A good recommendation is not the end of the work.

A healthcare team can agree that a medicines change makes sense and still struggle to introduce it. Evidence needs checking. Capacity needs planning. Responsibilities cross services. Someone has to return to the outcome.

PHARMORIS is being developed around that distance between a decision and delivery. Our wider programme directions include community pharmacy workflows, evidence review and the practical economics of implementation.

The question is specific: what does a team gain from using the system, once the effort of checking and using it is included?

A first visit

Where would your question first become useful?

A pharmacy owner, a researcher and an industrial team may arrive with very different problems. Explore the first piece of work each would need, then inspect what connects those questions. The connection is a way into NEUVIOR, rather than a claim that one platform already solves every problem.

A first visit

Editorial decision model, not measured NEUVIOR results. Sources identify the published context; selected lenses do not establish product performance, customer adoption or institutional endorsement.

Start with the decision your team owns.

A buyer needs to recognise the work, the present alternative and the evidence that would justify a next step. Follow the medicines route to find that scope. Research breadth is context; it does not substitute for a specific commercial comparison.

Choose one recurring decision to discuss.

In focus

A medicines decision

Begin with work somebody recognises: a service exception, a review or an implementation choice. The useful starting point is a decision owner and an agreed question, rather than a request to replace professional judgement with another screen.

  • Local work
Evidence to keep in view

A defined local question, existing workflow and authorised evidence.

A useful next step

Explore the relevant medicines audience.

Your best route into NEUVIOR begins with a question and a contribution that can be examined.

Questions worth pursuing.

Research starts with attention: a pattern, a result or a question that refuses to go away. We are interested in what changes when people look more closely.

Across our work, the next useful answer might change how a medicine is used, how a disease is understood or how a material is recovered. Each has its own path. Each deserves the space to be explored.

NEUVIOR Constellation

What if a science park
was only the beginning?

An early-stage company may need specialist equipment long before it can justify its own facility. A research team may need help moving a promising method towards practical use. The public deserves more ways to encounter the science shaping its future.

Constellation is our scientific destinations concept: research and development environments connected with workspaces, offices, industry and a public museum of medicine and discovery.

Our ambition is a network of eight destinations around the world by 2045. The purpose is to connect complementary capabilities and communities — and carry what works in one location into the next.

Scotland is under consideration. Varun Sharma has visited AMIDS and spoken with the team and developers. We are also exploring the fit of a potential 2029 manufacturing proposal through discussions concerning the Life Sciences Innovative Manufacturing Fund. Location, demand and project scope are being developed.

Meet at the Vertex.

Two productive wings. A public heart. An original Constellation concept.

Researchers who ask unexpected questions. Healthcare teams who know what needs to change. Businesses who can help an idea travel further. People with the patience to build something worthwhile.

That is the company we want to build.
